We made it to the weekend!
We started renovations on our laundry room last weekend, so I thought I would start sifting through HGTV.com for inspiration. It’s a small room so I’m looking for light and airy. Glass block windows don’t let in a lot of natural light, so I will have to make up for that with artificial light and light colored walls.
I can’t wait for it to be finished. I am very routine and when one is interrupted, I struggle a little bit. The big challenge will be when everything is pulled out of the room (aka the washer and dryer) when the floor is tiled and I have to wait for it to dry. I’m hoping that won’t take more than a couple of days.
A new laundry room is cause for new products to try. I can’t wait to give the pods by The Honest Company a try. I’ve heard they have great reviews and I’m all about better items for the environment. I’ve been wanting to try the Downy beads for a while… does anyone know how they work?
When I do the final reveal, I’ll make sure I post some before pictures so you can see the progress. I’m beyond excited that I’m finally getting my dream laundry room. Maybe I’ll want to do laundry more often! What are some items you have incorporated into your laundry room to make it more appealing?
