Happy Friday!
It’s been a crazy busy week getting ready for vacation next week, but I think I’ll be ready to go!! Cannot WAIT for a little down time and some warmth.
So last week I posted on Instagram that I would do a blog post about how I get all of my brand new designer goods for less. That’s right.. I’m spilling ALL of my secrets!
This is not a sponsored post. I’m just giving you some tips and tricks that might help you if you’re interested in high fashion goods like I am.
First off, I got this Chanel book at HomeGoods. It retails for about $80, I got it for $30. That’s more than half off, I should have bought two!
My Louboutin shoes are my FAVORITE! I got them at Saks because they were sold out at every other store online. (Tip #1, go up a complete size so you don’t have to order 3 pair like I did to get the sizing right. I normally take a size 8, had to size up to a 9. They run that small.)
So here’s how I got them for less. I’m extremely lucky to have profit sharing at my full time job. Each December if the company does well, we benefit from that. (Just in time for Christmas shopping, right??) I got a $600 check last year, so I set that aside until I was ready to buy my shoes. They retail for $675, so with tax I ended up paying around $700. In reality I paid $100 because my profit sharing was “free” (extra) money. I could have easily paid off more bills with it, but I have been wanting these shoes for a couple of years now.
I have 2 pairs of Tall Hunter rain boots that I absolutely love. I got my black pair from Bloomingdales. They retail for $150. Bloomingdales was having a sale and I put my birthday money towards them. I paid around $70. I bought a red pair from Lord & Taylor. They were having a Friends & Family sale of 25% off, so I opened up a charge to get another 15%-20% off. I had a couple of 20’s saved up.. I paid $40 for the boots.
I earn points with my Capital One credit card and I redeem for gift cards at a few of my favorite stores. Some people might say, I don’t use credit cards and I don’t want them. I NEVER carry a balance. We all put gas in our cars and we all buy groceries, right? That’s money towards those gift cards. I’ve been able to get gift cards for Lowes, Bloomingdales, Saks, Pottery Barn and Neiman Marcus. I’m on the verge of getting a $200 gift card now for all of the points I have earned. I will be putting that towards a Michelle watch. Bonus.. my birthday is next month, so I’m sure I’ll have some birthday money to put towards that as well.
That’s how I got my Tory Burch Miller Sandals. I earned a $100 gift card from Bloomingdales and I got a TB Gift Card for my birthday. They retail close to $200, I think I paid $25.
The icing on the cake was paying $2.99 for these Tory Burch flip flops. No, that is not a typo.. I paid $2.99!! TB printed flip flops retail for about $50. Remember those black hunter boots that I got from Bloomingdales?? Bloomingdales sent me an email stating I earned a $25 gift card for my purchase. Wait.. is this a joke? $25 (FREE) dollars to spend? The flip flops were on sale for like 40% off, so I put the gift card towards them and paid $2.99. I couldn’t believe I had to put a $2.99 charge on my credit card. I felt like I was stealing them! lol.. But they are so cute and comfy!
Don’t get me wrong.. I have paid full price for my fair share of designer goods. But for the most part.. if you see me with a designer handbag, I most likely got it for less.
What are your favorites? What are you currently saving for??
Thanks for checking in!

I love earning points and special offers through Credit Cards, if I’m going to be spending the money anyway, why not get rewarded?!
