Some girls like shoes… I LOVE HANDBAGS! Long story short.. I bought a really cute (trendy) handbag at JC Penny a few years back.. and 2 weeks later it fell apart. LITERALLY! The kicker? You’re thinking JC Penny… cheaper than most, right?? I paid $89 for the thing!! It was the closest handbag I could get to the “real deal” and I wanted to look like I had spent hundreds to look “trendy”. Well add New York State tax to that purchase and I did spend $100… and I was left with a bag falling apart . I could have taken it back because it was falling apart after only having it for 2 weeks… but I figured they would tell me I could only exchange it and I didn’t want any part of the same thing. I’m not one to bash department stores, but I was pretty upset because I paid a good amount of money for it.. the higher the price, the better quality – right??
With that being said…. Girls… Handbags are an investment. Invest in a designer bag that will last. Check the stitching.. is it real leather? Choose them wisely because some will never “go out of style”. If your heart is set on a bag that’s $325 but you have to buy groceries to eat the next 2 weeks… wait a month or two for it to go on sale. There are a ton of bags that are on sale right now.. and they’ll transition into the next season. I’ve picked out a few that are sure to last. Oh.. and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going on until August 2nd…. I have a few in there for you.
