Happy Friday!
Yay for short work weeks! I took Tuesday off to give myself the extended version of the long Memorial Holiday weekend, so I am especially happy the weekend is here already.
I did some shopping on Tuesday and my first stop was Ulta. I’ve been wanting to try Bye Bye Pores by IT Cosmetics for quite some time. Although my pores aren’t that noticeable, they are large enough to bother me when I look in the mirror. My problem areas are mostly the cheeks near my nose, the area just above between the eyes (also known as part of the T zone) and my chin. These are also the oiliest parts of my skin. I can put on makeup before walking out the door at 6:30am and by 7:30am I’m already blotting my chin because it looks (and feels) really oily to me.
So I had read countless reviews on the product and can honestly say I was torn whether or not to purchase it. They were split 50/50. Some said it worked wonders.. others said don’t waste your money. I decided to give it a try because a couple of the reviews stated it really helps with absorbing oil.
I use a mineral powder for my foundation (dermatologist approved) which I put on first, then use my kabuki brush to put on the Bye Bye Pores. Then I put my blush on over it. It is translucent so it can be worn to set your foundation or when you’re completely finished to set your makeup. I would say do what works for you.
I am absolutely loving it! I didn’t put as much on the 2nd day I used it, so I noticed a little more oiliness by mid-day, but the first morning I felt like it kept my face dry all day. If you’re suffering from oily skin, I highly recommend this product. I may view it differently when it starts to get warmer and muggier out, but for now it’s blowing me away.
What are some products that have worked for you? Have you tried IT Cosmetics? If so, what are you using and what do you think?
I hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for checking in!!

PS.. I’ve added a few more of my favorites to the carousel.

I have been debating trying IT cosmetics but this has finally pushed me to give it a go! I have been seeing mixed reviews but I think the best thing for me to do is bite the bullet and try them and I hope I am the type that loves it!!
