Happy Wednesday Everyone!
I’m excited to finally share the highlights of Buffalo’s own Crown Runway Show during Queen City Fashion Week!
I had the pleasure of attending the main event last week as an influencer/blogger and I couldn’t be more proud of the talent in this city. From the creators, to the business owners, to the models owning the runway… Buffalo, this was your night to shine.
The show was held at the beautiful Foundry Suites and if you’re ever in the Buffalo, NY area.. this is a must stay! The open ceiling with its industrial look and brick walls was the perfect setting for fall fashion.
I arrived early so I could take a few photos and find my seat. I was honored to be front row and for a brief moment felt like my blog Taylor Reese had finally arrived.
A big thank you to Creative Director, Rachel Good for giving me an all access backstage pass. This was my first fashion show and was great to see what really goes on behind the scenes. You don’t know the extent of what goes into putting on one of these shows until you see it first hand. It was nice to meet some of the local boutique owners while making my rounds, but with all the mayhem going on.. I could never remember all of their names.
I also had the pleasure of speaking with Founder, Rick Warne before everyone started to arrive. Hearing his passion I know that Queen City Fashion Week is only going to grow and get better year after year. The night had just begun and he was already looking forward to 2017. You can catch more of Rick’s photography and blog HERE.
Two of my favorite boutiques making their debut on the runway were Blush and Village Designs Elmwood. You can shop locally or shop online. You can also follow them on Instagram HERE and HERE! All eyewear was courtesy of Visual Eyes.
There were several designer vendors there for everyone to shop before/after the show(s). Stella & Dot was there and is a huge weakness for me. I have some jewelry pieces from them and always get compliments on them. You can check out the stacked rings I wear every day HERE.
I hope you get the chance to check out some of the boutique websites I’ve added to this post. If you are local and were at the show, I would love to know what you thought about it. If you are from out of town, does your city host similar shows? I would love to hear from you.
xoxo Chanda
P.S. Here are a few videos of my favorite outfits from the night.
